I would call myself a novice and nothing else. I have been card making for about two years now and it still sometimes bewilders me. I get the wrong product, and usually the card never turns out exactly as I want it to. I will post these mistakes as well as the triumphs I have.
Today was another disaster. I had recently bought some paper to use with my Letreset Promarkers. I used some stamps for images as I can't draw at all and used Memento Tuxedo Black ink. The results were not at all what I thought it would be.
The paper was supposed to be bleed proof but the Memento Tuxedo Black ink bled like crazy and faded when I had left it to walk the dogs and also smeared. I did not think about the effect of the Memento ink on the paper. I just wanted to try out a new bleed proof paper for my markers. Does anyone else have these problems or am I the only one?
I had planned to use today as a colouring in day where I would stamp all my images and colour them in then cut them out. the next day would then be used to use those images on different number of cards but now I'm back at square one.
Hopefully I'll have better luck tomorrow. xxx
