18 March 2013 - Mother's Day Card.

Hey Guys,

After a weekend of sunshine I was disappointed when I woke to find this morning was dull and grey. To cheer myself up I decided to make my mother her mother's day card. I knew roughly what I wanted to do.

I used a stamp set from Kanban. I colored it using my Letraset Promarkers and stuck it onto some backing paper from Dovecraft's Back To Basics IV. I used milled Lavender distress ink to soften the edges against the purple card stock.

I made my sentiment from Personal Impressions stamps on white paper and used milled lavender distress ink around the edges to make it tie in with the rest card.. For the final touch I used a purple gel pen to do stitch lines around the edges.

Has anyone already done their mother's day card yet? If you like or hate this card comment below.
