Welcome to my Blog. Today I'm sharing my first ever Shaker card. I just love watching other people do these and have wanted to make one for a while. I watched lots of videos and got a few tips and tricks from different people.
First I stamped my image making sure that it was more in the centre. I coloured him in and stuck some foam squares all around the edge of the card. There can be no gaps otherwise whatever you put in will fall out. I used some snow flakes and ordinary sequins and put a few in the image area. I cut a blue border by measuring it would fit first. The border seemed really bare so I used the snowflake stamps that came with the stamp set. I used brilliance moonlight white ink pad. The only thing I can say for certain about this ink pad is to leave it to dry for a while because it smudges very easily.
Apart for that little mishap I am glad I finally tried a shaker card and would try to do some more in the future.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog today and please feel free to leave a comment. all comments are welcome. If you have other tips on how the make a shaker card please leave them in the comments below.
